On August 17-18th, the 2013 AAPS@China Symposium was successfully held at the Academic Center in the Chinese University of Hong Kang.The theme of this conference is "Mapping the next generation of pharmaceutical research-uniting great minds in the Greater China Area". As another AAPS student chapter in China, we were invited to attend this meeting. As Faculty Advisor of AAPS student chapter in Fuzhou University, professor Jia was invited to make a presentation entitled "The new strategy to prevent cancer from metastasis: restrain circulating tumor cells" and professor Shao gave another presentation entitled “Current understanding of the active ingredient ursolic acid from Chinese medicinal herbs and its potential for cancer metastasis chemoprevention”. Besides,we had seven abstracts accepted for poster presentation in the Symposium. To our great joy, Li Yuanfang received Poster Award of HKD300.
In addition, we also visited professor Li Hanliang, Yu Jun and Wu Peiji in the Chinese University of Hong Kong,and reached a preliminary cooperation intention.
