The AAPS gave hope and opportunities to people who cared the prevention and diagnosis of diseases especially various cancers and even the development and prospect of pharmaceutical road. The AAPS Fu Zhou University Student Chapter was primitively established in November, 2011, which provide educational opportunities for students in the pharmaceutical sciences to learn about all aspects of drug developments through student participation in AAPS activities.

Summaries: All AAPS members and other students in our chapter attended the symposium. FZU invited many experts in these fields from FZU and OPU. In this symposium we’ve learnt more about Photocatalysis, Photo-Functional Materials and Nano Science & Technology.

ACCR, New Horizons in Cancer Research Conference: Bringing Cancer Discoveries to Patients
Summaries: The AACR’s second edition of the New Horizons in Cancer Research Conference Series in China. The meeting served as a dynamic platform for the advancement of cancer science and medicine, and for the establishment of new collaborations on an international scale. The highly engaging and interactive four-day multidisciplinary program covered the entire cancer research spectrum – from basic, to translational, to clinical. The meeting featured talks from an outstanding roster of international speakers and local experts. We’ve sent five students and an associate professor to engage in the meeting. From that meeting, we learned the latest news, ideas, strategies about cancer therapy.

The 2nd Graduate Science Festival & Academic Salon, College of Chemistry, Fuzhou University
Summaries: During this period, we listened to the experience that excellent graduate students shared in the field of academic, such as experimentation, writing, and submission of papers. we also had a lively communication and discussion with them to solve a lot our own problems. AcademicAnnual Meeting of the Pharmaceutical Association of Fujian Pharmacy Committee
Summaries: In this meeting, we listened some pharmaceutical professionals’ reports, and further understood the current state of the pharmaceutical research, enhanced our consciousness of innovation. And our students did the report about Antibody- Modified and Mifepristone-loaded Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles for Prevention of Tumor Metastasis, and got a good response.

We invited Pascal Chartrand to give a lecture
Theme: Imaging telomerase RNA trafficking in living cells.
Summaries:Though the lecture，students know the overview of the roles of telomerase RNA played in cancer and how to image them in living cells. Students also learned the new strategy to image RNA or DNA in living cell and the trend of nucleic acid analysis.

Moving the entire laboratory to new campus
Summaries: In order to do research more conveniently, our university ask us to move our laboratory to new campus. In this moving project, members of AAPS did a lot of work, such as supervising the decoration project, contacting engineer to debug apparatus, helping remover to move our instruments and so on.

The Fourth Annual Conference of Chinese Society of Micro-& Nanosicence and Technology/the 2016 International Conference of Nanobiology and Nanomedicine
Summaries:
The conference was successfully held at the FuZhou Lakeside Hotel in Fuzhou, Fujian Province from December 7 to December 20, 2016. The meeting invited Conference Report Expert and Invited Report Specialis at home and abroad a total of 110 people. They communicate and report on the latest progress and achievements of nanoscience and nanotechnology at home and abroad. This is the nanotechnology field of a major academic event.
In this event, all AAPS members take full advantage of the learning opportunities, listen carefully to the experts who are interested in, and actively consult and exchange with the experts after the meeting.
